People in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region are caught in a devastating conflict that has taken lives, displaced millions, and forced people to the brink of famine. Civilians are facing the ongoing effects of the conflict in Tigray, and life-saving aid is needed to avert a catastrophe. Access to food and humanitarian assistance is limited, and health facilities and other key infrastructure have been damaged in the fighting. The region is also prone to natural hazards. People fleeing are faced with difficult circumstances within Ethiopia, including drought, flooding, widening conflict, and disease outbreaks.
