Our world faces an unprecedented challenge in the face of COVID-19. As a global community, we share your focus on individual safety and the health of our world. Atlas Corps is also focused on the safety and welfare of our Fellows. We currently have 70 Fellows in active service in the USA. They continue to serve from virtual offices. Atlas Corps continues to support them. We also maintain our focus on developing leaders, strengthening organizations. Today, we ask you for a small gift of support.
The current, dominant model of international development perpetuates social inequality - the "developed world" possesses the resources, staff, and answers to solve problems of "developing world." To overcome these challenges, Atlas Corps pioneered a multilateral exchange model that empowers individuals while building organizational capacity in the USA and abroad. We build bridges between individuals, organizations, and countries to forward positive social impact.
Atlas Corps connects talent to opportunity to strengthen the global nonprofit sector. We empower individuals and organizations - 60% of our Fellows are female and 50% of Hosts focus on women and child empowerment. Through our leadership development program, we provide emerging social change leaders hours of professional development through full-time service and professional development training. Atlas Corps Alumni have returned home to be leaders in nonprofits, government, and social enterprise
We are developing a generation of nonprofit leaders empowered with the skills and networks to tackle the world's biggest challenges. Each year, we engage, on average, 100 international leaders from 25 different countries who serve at 75 different organizations in the United States.
